About Me

I currently attend Virginia Tech pursuing a degree in Computer Science and minors in Statistics and Japanese Studies. In addition, I’m a member of the Virginia Tech Programming Team.

I started programming simple games in Flash (Basic Actionscript) in middle school (around 6th grade). From there, I fell in love, and learned to program in Java, Python and C/C++ during high school and university. I learned primarily by making games and other small side projects from scratch, with each project increasing in size and complexity; I enjoy challenging myself. Eventually, I developed an interest in the areas of machine learning and cryptography (machine learning more so than cryptography), and began shifting focus towards Neural Networks and Natural Selection machine learning algorithms.

Feel welcome to view my projects on this site, observe my growth as a Computer Scientist, and perhaps learn a thing or two along the way.

Outside of Computer Science, I enjoy scuba diving, trips with my family, and a little drawing here and there.
